On behalf of RONCO and the entire family of RONCO associates, I would like to wish you nothing but happiness, health, prosperity and success in 2022.
2021 brought yet another year of challenges: uncertainty, price volatility, unstable market conditions, supply chain breakdowns, and more. However, through all the adversity, RONCO persevered! We have learned over time how to operate efficiently in strenuous circumstances, even with chaotic situations swirling around us, such as Covid-19. Even in the midst of an unprecedented and unpredictable world health event, we doubled down on our promises to our customers, and using various technologies, we developed internal systems and created, improved and streamlined a variety of internal processes - all to help us serve our customers better and be able to maintain our promise of always providing consistent quality products and unparalleled customer service.
One major accomplishment for RONCO in 2021 was an upgrade to our new mask manufacturing factory. In addition to the pleated surgical masks that the factory has been manufacturing, in 2021 we also began to manufacture two different styles of N95 masks. We are very proud to be manufacturing all these Made-in-Canada masks, supporting the Canadian frontline workers during this time of need. We are proud to provide new employment opportunities for Canadian workforce and doing our part in helping to protect as many Canadians as possible.
2022 is a very special and sentimental year for me, as RONCO reached a massive milestone by completing our 25th year in business.. Over the past quarter-century, there have been a lot of ups and downs, but the one thing that has only gone continuously up, is our dedication, our passion and our commitment to our customers and other business partners. RONCO, growing from a basement-run operation 25 years ago (selling only one single product), and ending up where we are today as one of the leaders in the Canadian PPE industry can undeniably be accredited to all of you and the contributions you have made toward our success. So, I would like to sincerely thank each and every one of you.
Regardless of the current turmoil surrounding all of us right now as we try to navigate through an unprecedented pandemic, I have a positive outlook for the year ahead. I am looking at 2022 in a bit of a brighter light. The business landscape is poised to see more stability, we will continue to focus intently on the healthcare and industrial marketplaces and continue to provide our customers with consistent quality products and services.
Again, I would like to genuinely thank all of you. RONCO’s customers, distributors, vendors, end-users, associates, and all our business partners; with a very special mention of families of our associates who have been a great source of inspiration and support. I, and the entire RONCO family, are very grateful to all of you.
